Maps Just Don't Cut it at the Great- Minnesota- Get- Together

I currently read an article about the new MN state fair application for your smartphone. This seems to be the latest and greatest thing at the state fair this year, and it's not on a stick! This app for the smartphone gives patrons of the Minnesota State Fair to look at maps to find out where they want to go next as well as useful and interesting information about the nation's 2nd largest state fair. This application also enables GPS showing you where you are at the Fair. The best things about this application is that it is FREE, the fact that it is free attracts consumer to download this application and drives consumer buying at various food and merchandise vending. I think this is a very wise move by the Minnesota State Fair's Marketing department. This new app just shows how influential technology is in every aspect of daily life; everything from enjoying the state fair to conducting a business transaction. This application also enables consumers to personalize their state fair experience by creating a specific schedule of where the consumer would like to go during their state fair stay. Business people are even talking about letting people purchase items at the state fair with their smartphones. This would be a huge step for the MN State Fair in a world which seems seriously dependent on technology, not that thats a bad thing. The introduction of this applications shows that Maps just don't cut it at the Great MN Get Together! Have fun at the Fair everyone and download the application!
